Thornberry offers a refuge to abandoned, unwanted, abused and neglected animals. We help dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and exotic birds.
We operate a no kill policy and no healthy animal is ever destroyed. We adopt out all kinds of animals and ask for sponsorship for those animals who are unable to leave us for whatever reason. Our aim is to rehome as many animals as possible into secure loving homes for the rest of their lives.
For 25 years we have given hope to those abandoned or mistreated and your help will allow us to continue to do that. we rely entirely on donations, fundraising and legacies ad we are often the only hope for these animals.
We have a dedicated group of trustees, staff and volunteers but are always looking for more help. If you can help in any way it will allow us to save more lives.
One of the ways you can help us is to leave a lasting gift to Thornberry in your will. Leaving a legacy to Thornberry can help us to save lives for months and years to come.
Any legacy left to charity is exempt from Inheritance Tax meaning that your loved ones or estate do not have to pay 40% tax on any money left to us.
What an amazing way to be remembered - for any animal lover out there - knowing you can give the gift of life is priceless.
If you are interested please speak to your solicitor about making or updating a will or contact us for a chat about this.
